Barber Licensing Exam Overview

Candidates must adhere to several important instructions during the examination. They must obtain permission before leaving the examination area for any reason, ensuring they have their picture ID for re-entry. Each candidate must bring a supply kit with properly cleaned and disinfected materials for their use during the examination, ensuring its contents are sufficient and in working order. EPA-registered disinfectant wipes must be used, as sprays are no longer allowed. Verbal instructions will be read twice for each section, and communication between candidates and proctors/examiners is restricted, except for emergencies. Candidates must follow public protection and infection control procedures at all times. Failure to comply with rules may lead to dismissal. Additionally, prohibited items and actions, such as electronic devices and disruptive behavior, are outlined, and candidates must dispose of materials correctly. Finally, model requirements and examination sections are detailed, including tasks and time allowances for each. Parking Instructions for Resource Center Visitors

We kindly request that you do not park in the lot across the street from the Resource Center. Instead, we recommend parking along the street where meters are available near the Resource Center.

To ensure convenient access to the testing site, we encourage you to arrive early and utilize the street parking adjacent to the Resource Center where metered spaces are conveniently located.
